LeAF is an independent consultancy and research institute that facilitates its knowledge, expertise and research facilities in the areas of treatment of solid and liquid waste streams (waste and wastewater) and recovery and recycling of water, energy, nutrients and other valuable raw materials. This way LeAF contributes to implementing structural sustainability in our society. Established from and seated with the section Environment technology of Wageningen UR, LeAF also has access to a range of additional knowledge and expertise in the area of sustainability, (biobased-) technology and green space. Where needed or wanted, LeAF cooperates with other organizations from its extensive network.
