AquaMinerals, formerly known as the Reststoffenunie, was established in 1995 by the Dutch drinking water companies to collaboratively find a good destination for residuals of the drinking water production process. The result exceeded all expectations: by now AquaMinerals finds high grade and sustainable destinations for almost 200.000 tons of residuals per year, and has become the central point of contact for this issue.
